Legs with cellulite. What else could be worse for a woman when it's time to wear a swimsuit - or even just a cute pair of shorts?
The appearance of cellulite on the legs is a major complaint from women of all ages and body-types. Most of these women have tried every almost every half-baked method to get rid of it. From cellulite scrub brushes to three months of 'anti-cellulite spa-treatments' - the list of crazy methods is endless.
Truth be told - there is only one proven and legitimate way to transform your cellulite legs into a pair of attractive legs.
But first let's take a look at the 3 types of cellulite cases in women.
Three Types of Cellulite
Type ONE - This condition is a localized presence of cellulite. For example - a woman may only have it on the backs of her thighs, just below her buttocks and above the backs of her knee creases.
Type TWO - In this uncommon scenario, the cellulite is visible on all areas of the legs and is evenly distributed on both sides of the lower-body.
Type THREE - As strange as it might sound - this is where the legs have cellulite in different zones, on different sides of the body. It's an asymmetrical distribution. For example; there may be cellulite on the outside of the left leg (in the hip/saddle bag zone) and on the right leg - there might be cellulite bumps on the front zone of the thigh, just above the knee area.
It's important to note - the appearance of cellulite is just as common in women who are slim or skinny - as it is in women who are overweight and carrying extra body fat.
The reason for this is there really is no such thing as cellulite. It's not an actual substance.

Cellulite Is Only a Word - Not a Thing
Society has basically become accustomed to using the term 'cellulite' to identify this bumpy, puckered appearance of the skin. And because of this - most people now assume that there is some kind of fat or toxic buildup under the surface of the skin. Unscrupulous marketing and underhanded advertising has certainly played a part in this big fallacy.
Nonetheless, we move forward here toward understanding the facts - and making positive progress.
The main factor which causes the appearance of bumps and orange peel effect of the skin is atrophied muscles under the skin layers. This is why it also can be seen on slender women. When the muscles are weak and un-toned - there is no firm base-layer to support the skin and fat dermal layers on top of the muscles.
So this underlying looseness allows the skin to pucker and dimple - resulting in the "appearance" of cellulite on the legs. Since this is a muscular issue - there is absolutely no passive product or treatment witch can get rid of it. No lotion, no pill, no device, no special pants or wraps can change your muscle structure. It's physiologically impossible.
Tone Your Leg Muscles to Get Rid of Leg Cellulite
The only way to firm your underlying muscle structure is with specifically targeted leg, thigh and butt toning exercises.
I'm not talking about lifting weights and pumping away on machines in the gym. That's not necessary. But what is necessary is a carefully selected and combined group of exercises which specifically tone and tighten the various muscles of the female lower-body
By following this type of simple program on a consistent basis you can get rid of your cellulite legs - and also improve your overall heath, fitness and energy levels. Not a bad deal if you think about it.
